* Wash your hands, take off the cling wrap, throw it away, you don't need it anymore.
* Wash your tattoo with lukewarm water, no soap ('ph neutral' soap is 'ok' )
* Don't rub but 'dab' the tattoo dry.
* Apply a thin layer of ointment.
The 4 following weeks.
*2 or 3 times a day: Wash your hands, Apply a very thin layer of ointment: Bepanthen, cicaplast, Hustle butter, natural oils...
- Let the tattoo breathe
- Do not apply a thick layer of ointment, if so the tattoo can't heal properly
- No bandage
- No sun
- Don't go for a swim, no swimming pool, no sea,...
- No 'gommage' , no bath, no 'hammam' , no sauna,..
- Wear comfortable clothes, you don't want your clothes to rub over the tattoo
Bigger tattoos will always take longer to heal because they cause more stress to your skin.
Smaller tattoos don’t usually take quite as long, but that doesn’t mean the healing process isn’t as important!
